Hi, I’m Roisin, Women’s officer for the Great Western Branch. I’ve been with Openreach for 3 years and my current role is Service Delivery Copper. I enjoy the role, especially meeting new people and being challenged with the problem solving that each job individually needs. I decided to challenge myself with the role of the Women’s officer as I feel we need more of a voice in the workplace. We all know that sometimes we just want a woman to talk to first and to be supported by. My aim is to do that with this role.

With the help of Paul Clark, we have started a process of highlighting how it is for women working at Openreach. The contributions to the survey have been brilliant and your voices are being heard. The more voices we can add, the stronger we are. I will keep you updated with how these meetings go when I have more information.
