Welcome to our New BAME Officer

I’m Charmaine, and recently took on the role of BAME Officer for the CWU.

I have worked for BT Hr for over 4 years but have previously been an active union rep for a previous company. 

I love cooking, gardening and singing, and I have 2 daughter’s and 6 grandchildren, but in my spare time I take part in a local community radio show on a monthly basis, I give Hr advice to my local community as and when they reach out to me and I actively promote and support various groups who understand the struggle people of colour endure on a daily basis in their personal and working lives, to stop discrimination and racial hatred.
